The Vets

Dr. Richard Ryvar BVSc Cert AVP MRCVS – Principal Veterinary Surgeon

At the helm of AllPets Vets is experienced Vet Richard Ryvar. After graduating from Liverpool University in 2007, Richard worked in a busy veterinary hospital in Staffordshire for five years, where he routinely treated a variety of animals. He continued his studies and gained his advanced practitioner qualification during 2015.

Richard is from near Wrexham and he was keen to move closer to home, and jumped at the chance when he had the opportunity to run his own practice in Rhyl. He lives with his wife Becky, and their two lovely lurchers, from Merlin rescue, called Archie & Paddy and their two cats Jasper and Rufio. We all keep an eye on our lunch when Paddy is around, as he loves his food!

Dr. Mariella Roberts MRCVS– Veterinary Surgeon

Mariella is from Italy and qualified as a vet about twenty years ago. She has worked in the UK for almost 15 years – our British weather doesn't seem to have put her off! She has worked in several British vet practices including a busy PDSA clinic. She is a keen surgeon and particularly enjoys orthopaedic surgery.

Mariella is also a full time mum outside of work, so keeps herself busy, and has a lovely Collie cross named Alba who often visits the practices. Alba loves being a Vet's dog and enjoys being fussed by all the staff at AllPets.

Dr. Eliza Grout BVM&S, BSc(hons), MBA, MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon

Originally from Conwy, Eliza qualified as a vet in 2007 and has worked in several practices in North Wales, treating a variety of animals. Eliza has also worked within the vet insurance industry, so if you have an insurance query she's the one to ask. She enjoys all aspects of first opinion veterinary practice, and has a particular interest in small animal internal medicine.

Eliza grew up with a variety of animals, and has worked on several farms. She is also a qualified riding instructor and a keen horse rider, and currently owns five horses which keep her busy outside work. She lives with her partner, who is also a Vet, their naughty, lovable little rescue terrier Sally and their three cats.

Dr. Sara Wreglesworth MRCVS

Sara joined AllPets in Jan 2017. She has worked in mid Wales for the last three years in mixed practice. Wanting to move closer to her family in Colwyn Bay she is laying down new roots in coastal North Wales. Sara is currently learning to speak Welsh, and enjoys outdoor sports.
